Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They help a website work, remember your choices and understand how it is used. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".
This policy explains which cookies https://creditandsuretybrokers.com (the "Site") uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. The Site is run by Credit and Surety Brokers Limited.
2. How we use cookies
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary without asking you first. For anything else, we ask for your permission, using the cookie banner when you first visit. Optional cookies stay switched off until you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time (see section 5).
We use two types of cookie:
- Strictly necessary cookies are needed to make the Site work or to remember your choices. They can't be switched off. At the moment we use one.
- Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site, so we can improve it. We only set these if you accept them.
We don't use advertising or marketing cookies.

4. Google Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google. It collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, the website you came from and your approximate location. We use it to produce reports about how the Site is used. We don't use it to identify you.
We have switched off Google's advertising features, and we don't use Google Analytics data for advertising. Google may process this information on servers outside the UK. Where it does, the safeguards required by UK data protection law apply.
You can read how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites (opens in a new tab).
5. How to manage your cookies
Our cookie settings. You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time, using the button below. If you switch analytics off, we stop using Google Analytics and remove its cookies.
You can also use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page.
Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. How you do this depends on your browser. The Information Commissioner's Office explains the options at https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies/ (opens in a new tab). If you block local storage, we may ask for your choice again each time you visit.
Google's opt-out. You can stop Google Analytics collecting data about your visits on any website by installing Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout (opens in a new tab).
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. The version on the Site is the current one, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change means we need your permission again, we will ask.
